These A8 cut-level mechanics-style gloves have a PVC grip coating over a synthetic leather palm and provide cut protection on the palm side of the hand and fingers. Synthetic leather is a durable, abrasion-resistant fabric that is lighter and easier to clean than leather. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) grip is a raised pattern that provides a good grip and increased breathability over fully coated gloves. PVC remains flexible over a wide range of temperatures and provides good durability and resistance to liquids. ANSI/ISEA A8 cut-level gloves protect hands when encountering heavy to extreme cut hazards, such as those encountered when sorting recycled glass and material, working with sheet metal, steel cable, and heavy glass windows, and in metal stamping and manufacturing tasks.
