These A8 cut-level mechanics-style gloves are level 1 impact-rated, have a PVC grip coating over a synthetic leather palm, and provide cut protection on the palm side of the hand and fingers. Synthetic leather is a durable, abrasion-resistant fabric that is lighter and easier to clean than leather. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) grip is a raised pattern that provides a good grip and increased breathability over fully coated gloves.
