Compact AC hydraulic power units have a smaller tank than standard units, which allows these units to be mounted directly to the equipment being operated. AC hydraulic power units (HPUs) connect to an electrical power source to power industrial tools and equipment such as automobile lifts, elevators, lift tables, and other equipment that is primarily stationary. AC hydraulic power units generally have a larger capacity and are more powerful than DC hydraulic power units, which are battery-powered.
