These ANSI Level-3 heat-resistant gloves are made of goatskin and have a reinforced palm. The goatskin leather palm is soft, supple, and has excellent dexterity. It has better abrasion-, tear-, and water-resistance than other leathers. The reinforced palm increases abrasion- and puncture-resistance over standard gloves. ANSI heat level 3 is designed for use at moderate temperatures and for incidental contact with hot surfaces. Heat level indicates the maximum temperature that gloves can be used when handling hot objects before the worker will begin to feel a burn. Heat level and burn time are affected by object temperature and weight and length of time the object is held.
