General purpose inverted-mount plate casters have nonmarking nylon wheels that can withstand impacts and harsh loading conditions. The wheels have precision ball bearings that allow them to roll smoothly.

Inverted-mount plate casters are installed with their wheels pointing up to create a low-friction surface for moving bulky and heavy loads. Also known as cargo rollers, groups of these casters are mounted in floor recesses in dock areas, airport cargo-loading areas, or aircraft to reduce the effort it takes to move and maneuver large cargo containers on the floor as they're being loaded and unloaded. They can also be mounted on portable dollies and fixtures that are used for handling large cargo containers or on conveyor systems to provide multidirectional movement in transition, infeed, or outfeed sections.
