Product Description

Walk-behind sweepers have a wide cleaning head and a high-capacity receptacle for collecting dust and bulky debris from large surface areas in schools, offices, garages, and other commercial or industrial settings. They're commonly used for cleaning driveways, sidewalks, patios, and decks. As these sweepers are pushed along, their cleaning brush rotates to pick up debris and deposit it in the detachable receptacle. The receptacle has a handle so there's no need to touch the waste when dumping it.

Carpet and floor sweepers remove dust and debris from bare floors and low-pile carpets. They have brushes or rubber blades for loosening dirt from flooring and a built-in receptacle for collecting the debris. The receptacle traps dust to keep particles and allergens from becoming airborne. Electric sweepers have a battery-powered motor to rotate their cleaning brushes. Nonelectric sweepers have a manual-powered mechanism that turns the cleaning brushes as the sweepers are pushed across the floor.
