This 1/4" Drive Metric Flex Impact Socket features a ball and spring design, which helps provide a 30° working angle with a smooth 360° rotation. The TorquePlus™ drive configuration allows for a quick and easy socket engagement to the fastener flats, not the corners. The radius-corner design shifts contact area and stress away from the fastener corners, which helps distribute contact stresses over a large area of the socket, minimizing slippage. The internal design helps minimize fastener rounding.
