- Tensile strength: 12,400 psi Continuous use temp.: 210°F Heat deflection temp.: 240°F Polyethylene terephthalate polyester has exceptional dimensional stability, with excellent wear-resistance and a low coefficient of friction. A melting point of nearly 150° above that of acetals makes it suitable for use in precision mechanical parts for high-load and high-wear applications. For scraper blades, industrial bearings, electrical components, food processing, and other applications requiring close tolerances. FDA, USDA, 3-A Dairy, and Canada AG compliant.
