Thorogood Shoes 6" Work Boot, 10, M, Men's, Black, Composite Toe Type, 1 PR

A 6”H men’s work boot from Thorogood Shoes loaded with comfort features. Oiled full-grain leather upper with Spacer Mesh/Comfort Weave lining to keep feet dry and comfortable. Wide toe cap is larger than standard toe cap providing more room for toes to flex and bend. Includes fiberglass shank, removable polyurethane insole with special EVA cushion flex, compression molded EVA midsole with Impact 300 gel heel insert, and GEN-flex2 dual-density rubber outsole. Goodyear® welt construction is very sturdy and durable. The welt (a strip of leather or plastic) is stitched to the upper and midsole. The outsole is then attached with adhesive to the bottom and may also be stitched through the welt.

These 100% nonmetallic boots have composite toes and nonmetallic eyelets that won’t mark or scratch work surfaces or activate security-screening devices.

Note: This footwear is designed to provide secondary protection from incidental contact with live electrical circuits. It meets F2413-11 Section 5.5 requirements and is tested to resist the application of 18,000 volts at 60 Hz for 1 minute with no current flow in excess of 1 milliampere under dry conditions. It should not be worn in explosive or hazardous areas where conductive footwear is required.
