Product Description
Bare copper grounding wire does not have insulation or a jacket and is used to connect a circuit to a grounding rod in the earth. It is installed in parallel to hot and neutral wires in the circuit, providing a direct path for electrical current to follow to the ground in the event of a wiring problem, helping prevent electric shock. It is commonly used to ground service entrance panels to ground bars and rods, or to bond reinforced concrete structures together.
