Product Description

These steam hose assemblies have an EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) tube and cover that provide excellent resistance to ozone, good resistance to high temperatures and chemicals, and poor resistance to petroleum fluids.

Steam hose assemblies come with fittings installed on both ends of the hose for connecting it to compatible equipment. These hoses are designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures and are used for steam-cleaning, steam-pumping, heat-control, fire-prevention, thawing, blow-out service, and hoisting applications. They are used in harsh environments like steel mills, refineries, shipyards, foundries, and chemical plants. These steam hoses have a pinpricked cover that allows gases or vapors trapped in the hose carcass to escape so they don't create a blister in the cover of the hose.
