- JIC, 37° fittings seat at the contact of the two mating angles not on the thread contact.
- Imperial pipe fittings are made to NPTF (National Pipe Thread Fuel) specifications.
- It is recommended to always use pipe sealant on NPTF tapered pipe threads to assure a positive seal.
