The top shelf on these instrument carts is set at a lower height than on standard instrument carts. This reduces how far bulky or heavy items must be lifted when loading them onto the carts. These carts have metal shelves with a flush surface that allows items to slide onto or off of the carts for loading and unloading.

These metal-shelf utility carts have shock-absorbing casters and cushioned shelf matting that absorb shock and vibration while the cart is rolling, which helps protect fragile items on the cart from damage. The matting also has a nonslip surface that stops items from sliding on the shelves and colliding with each other.
