The DeWALT 20V MAX Premium XR Lithium Ion Battery Pack provides 2 times the capacity of the standard DeWALT battery pack, and 3 times the capacity of the DeWALT compact XR battery pack, for increased productivity. It has no memory and almost no self-discharge for less downtime. A 3-LED fuel gauge system communicates the state of charge immediately. If using DeWALT’s fast charger, the battery takes 1 hour to charge. The 20V MAX Fan-Cooled Fast Charger is a fan-cooled platform with a charge rate of 8 amps for premium batteries and 4 amps for compact batteries. The fan-assisted cooling helps produce faster charge times and minimize downtime on the job.
