Product Description
Thor steel quick-connect air coupling bodies are the female end of coupling sets. Also called sockets, they accept coupling plugs (nipple or male ends) to connect tools to air, water, or fluid lines. Steel couplings are hard and resilient with more damage resistance than softer metals and a wide working temperature range.
Thor quick-connect air couplings are used with air or water hoses requiring heavier duty, more durable couplings. Also known as double-locks or nationals, these couplings use a quarter-turn and click connection to secure. A spring-retracting sleeve prevents unintentional disconnection. They are compatible with any of the double-lock sockets regardless of barbed hose ID or pipe size. These multipurpose couplings connect air tools and hoses to compressed air supplies for drop-down air lines, construction vehicles, and automotive service and repair.
