Kinetic Energy Recovery Rope

Product Description

This rope has a breaking strength of 74,000 lbs. and is designed for utility trucks, medium size tractors or similar weighted items. Catapult is the premier kinetic energy rope designed to recover equipment in the most demanding situations. Use Catapult to connect the towing to the stuck vehicle. Under load, Catapult will stretch up to 35%, then transfer an immense amount of energy from the towing vehicle to free the stuck vehicle. It is designed to be the most effective recovery method, while decreasing shock and strain to both vehicles. By design, Catapult does not have to be tensioned before pulling the stuck vehicle. With traditional methods, the towing vehicle must gain tension on the tow strap or chain before initiating the recovery. If not, a damaging stock is transferred to both vehicles. In this situation, traditional tow straps or chains can also break creating a hazardous environment. Catapult allows the towing vehicle to gain momentum and traction before bearing the load of the stuck vehicle. This creates the safest and most effective recovery of vehicles.
