Product Description

Extension cords with remote-controlled outlets are short electrical cable used to control power to devices from up to 80 ft. away. They have a plug at one end and an outlet box with a receiver and one or more receptacles at the other end. A wireless remote activates the receiver to power the devices connected to the outlet box. They are often used to switch hard-to-reach lights and other devices on and off, even through walls, floors, and ceilings.

Extension cords with a single outlet box consist of flexible electrical cable and are used to supply temporary power to more than one device from the same cord, such as a power tool and a light. They have a plug at one end that connects to the power source and a metal outlet box with two receptacles at the other end that the devices plug into. Extension cords with outlet boxes are commonly used to provide power in a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications.
