These partial-finger mechanics-style gloves have a reinforced Duraclad palm. The reinforced palm increases abrasion- and puncture-resistance over standard gloves. Duraclad synthetic leather is a lightweight, heavy-duty material that resists stains and abrasion. It has the look and feel of real leather and is more durable than other synthetic leathers. Partial-finger gloves (sometimes called framer's gloves or carpenter's gloves) leave the thumb, first finger, and middle finger exposed while having glove coverage on the last two fingers. This leaves the first three fingers bare to provide high dexterity and sense of touch when handling nails, screws, and other small parts, while protecting last two fingers. Mechanics-style gloves have good dexterity and are often worn when performing basic tasks in general maintenance and repair operations.
