Electric baseboard heater thermostats control the temperature of standard and oil-filled electric baseboard heaters.

• Electric baseboard heaters install along the base of the wall where it meets the floor. They supplement heat from a central heating system or warm a single room by itself. They use convection heating, so cooler air in the room is drawn into the bottom of the heater where it's warmed. It then rises into the room. These heaters are ideal for spaces where additional comfort heating is required, like offices and hallways. They're typically placed beneath windows, where the heater’s rising air counteracts falling cool air from the window’s glass.
