ScanTel® Web Push

The Imperial ScanTel® Web Push application allows you to send your scanner orders directly to Imperial. This small PC-based application runs on your PC. All you need is a serial cable to connect to the scanner, and an internet connection.

What are the benefits of this transmission method?

Error-Free Transmission: As long as you have a reliable internet connection, you will be able to send your orders directly from your PC without worrying about background noise or other telephone quality issues. The Internet is a reliable method of transmitting simple textual information like the kind that's sent from our scanners.

Immediate Response: A list of any issues requiring immediate attention will be sent directly to your PC as soon as you send your order. Imperial's web server can handle more connections than our ScanTel ®reception system can; which means no waiting for you when you're ready to send your order.

Order Review Online: When processing is completed, you receive an ORDER NUMBER and a link to the order on Imperial's web site. After you click on the link, you will be able to review, edit and print an ORDER from the scanner information on our website from your web browser. This gives you a much greater level of control over the final order created from your scanner transmission. When you are satisfied with the order, release it to Imperial for processing.

24 Hour Access: You can use the ScanTel® Web Push Program to send your order at any time of the day.

Electronic Records: Using a scanner eliminates the possibility of handwritten errors. This software allows you to save your order information electronically for your own records.
