3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

Eye Hazards
May cause eye irritation.

Skin Hazards
May cause skin irritation. Prolonged and/or repeated skin contact may cause an 
allergic reaction/sensitization.

Ingestion Hazards
May be harmful if swallowed.

Inhalation Hazards
May cause nose, throat, and lung irritation. May cause respiratory tract 
irritation. Reports have associated repeated and prolonged exposure to some of 
the chemicals in this product with permanent brain, liver, kidney, and Central 
Nervous System damage. Headaches and dizziness may result. Chronic exposure to 
Xylene may damage a developing fetus and damage bone marrow causing a low blood 
count. 

4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Eye
In case of contact, hold eyelids apart and immediately flush eyes with plenty of 
tepid water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention immediately if 
irritation develops and persists. 

Skin;
In case of contact, immediately flush skin with soap and plenty of tepid water 
for at least 15  minutes. Get medical attention immediately if irritation 
(redness, rash, blistering) develops and persists. 

Ingestion:
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical 
personnel. If victim is fully conscious, give one or two cups of water or milk 
to drink. Seek medical attention immediately.

Inhalation;
Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.

(PPE). Contain spill and collect with absorbent material and transfer into 
suitable containers. Do not flush to sewer or allow to enter waterways.

Keep out of reach of children. Not for internal consumption.

Handling Precautions
Condition to 65-85F before using. If closed container is exposed to heat, 
pressure can build up. If moisture enters container, pressure may build up due 
to reaction. 

Storage Precautions
Store at 40-95F. Store in cool dry area in tightly closed containers, away from 
sparks and open flames. 

Work/Hygienic Practices
Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. 

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION

Engineering Controls
Use of a system of local and/or general exhaust is recommended to keep employee 
below applicable exposure  limits. Refer to the current edition of "Industrial 
Ventilation; A Manual of Recommended Practice" published by  the American 
conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists for information on the design, 
installation, use,  and maintenance of exhaust systems. 

Eye/Face Protection
Safety glasses with side shields or goggles. 

Skin Protection
Chemical-resistant gloves. Lab coat or other work clothing. Launder before 
reuse. 

Respiratory Protection
A respirator protection program that meets 29 CFR 1910.134 requirement must be 
followed whenever workplace conditions warrant a respirator's use. In areas 
where the Permissible Exposure Limits are exceeded, use a  properly fitted 
NIOSH-approved respirator.
