As Imperial continues to grow, we find it our responsibility to give back and support the community that has helped us thrive as a company by housing our business and our employees, and bringing us top talent. There are two main parts to Imperial's volunteerism strategy. These include the Corporate Sponsored Opportunities and the Pay it Forward program.

 

Internship Program

Our internship program has proven to be mutually beneficial to both students and Imperial. We have found numerous talented students that have been converted to full-time employees. Imperial Supplies offers paid 12-week internships in the Spring, Summer and Fall Terms.
In addition to their day-to-day duties and learnings within the department assigned to, Human Resources will coordinate group training events for the current group of interns.

"I started working at Imperial in 2005 at the Green Bay Distribution Center, where I held multiple positions within my first year. In 2006 I joined the Field Service department and that's where I’ve been ever since. I am now the Senior Field Service Manager of a team of 60+ Leaders, Technicians and Analysts that travel around the country to convert customers to the Imperial program. I have been with Imperial Supplies since 2015. I have been in a variety of roles since joining the company starting in Outbound as a Picker/Checker advancing to Shipping Processor and then Shipping Coordinator. I now work on the Inbound side of the distribution center as a Receiving Coordinator. I enjoy the team environment at Imperial Supplies. Working alongside my coworkers and the leaders at my distribution center has been a wonderful experience. Imperial Supplies is a great company to work for.
